Your time at home should be a restful retreat for your feet, but cold, hard floors and flimsy slippers can have the opposite effect.

Slip into our ethically sourced lambswool and sheepskin slippers, the perfect blend of
luxury and ease, they are ideal for ambling around the house or taking to your home away from home.

The soft 100% lambswool exterior and plush, welfare-assured sheepskin lining gently
envelop your feet, offering natural insulation and breathability.

Designed in London and produced in small batches in Portugal, these slippers are crafted
with lasting elegance,  a world apart from the flimsy, mass-produced alternatives.  A
thoughtful gift for anyone who values comfort and luxury.

Product details

  • Dark red & dusky pink diamond pattern in a soft 100% lambswool knitted fabric.

  • Lined with 100% natural high-quality Portuguese sheepskin from a welfare-
assured source and processed in-house at the manufacturer's eco-tannery.  (As no synthetic fibres are added to the plush, they will wear down to soft leather in patches after being worn for a while.  They will still be warm and cosy, but this is an unavoidable side effect of choosing natural fibres.)

  • Denim blue cotton velvet trim.

  • Constructed by hand in Portugal.

  • Lightweight ridged rubber sole - non-slip and flexible for padding around the house

  • Unisex design.

Sponge clean any small marks. To refresh your slippers, machine wash on a wool cycle no higher than 20 degrees C using a wool wash and a drop of fabric conditioner. Give your slippers an extra spin to remove any excess water (it is not good to leave them soaking wet) then leave to dry naturally with some scrumpled up paper inside to keep their shape.

OUR STORY..

Designed by Catherine.
Made to last a lifetime.

Catherine Tough has been designing pattern-led knitwear from her British studio since the early 2000s. Every sock, scarf, and jumper begins with a sketch — a love of colour, a study of folk motifs, a belief that the things we reach for every day should be worth reaching for.

These aren't socks that get thrown away after a season. They're knitted from natural fibres, designed with care, and made to become old favourites. Our customers tell us the same thing again and again: 'I bought them as a gift and ended up buying more for myself.'

How your socks are made

Every pair follows the same careful process — designed in Britain, made with integrity

01
Designed in London

Catherine sketches every pattern by hand in her studio, drawing on traditional Fair Isle and folk motifs with a modern colour eye.

02
Natural fibres sourced

We use only natural fibres — lambswool, cotton and cashmere — selected for softness, durability and the way they age.

03
Knitted with care

Crafted using traditional knitting techniques in trusted European mills with careful quality control throughout.

04
Ready to love

Every pair is finished and packed ready to wear or to give. They only become softer with every wash.

3 reasons our customers can't stop buying them

They feel incredible to wear

The lambswool is genuinely softer than anything they've tried before — and customers tell us they reach for them first every single morning.

They make the perfect gift

Beautifully packaged, immediately appreciated — and the recipient always comes back to buy more for themselves. Over and over again.

They last for years

Natural fibres, proper construction. Customers who bought their first pair ten years ago are still wearing them — and buying more for friends.

Four fibres. One drawer.

We knit in cotton, lambswool, recycled silk & cashmere blends. Here's how to choose — by season, by feel, or by gift.
